Audio
Ministry - Rob Raynys
This area of service is directly tied to worship. A wise
man once said, "The best electronic sounds devices are
those that no one notices." While we have found
that is is impossible to please everyone, it is our job to
make sure that the electronic sound does not detract from our
focus on Him.
This area of service requires being
at worship practices as well as the services. We balance
the different singers and instruments to make the sound as
pleasant and worshipful as possible. We provide "on
the job training" and rotate in teams. For more
information, please contact the church office at 721-7388.

Greeter's
Ministry - Cliff Thomas
Ps. 84:1, 10 - states, "How lovely is your dwelling
place, O Lord Almighty!... I would rather be a doorkeeper in
the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the
wicked."
The purpose of the Greeter's Ministry
at Beach Fellowship is to foster a welcoming and friendly
environment for every person who comes through our
doors. These may be our special "church
family" or "guests", who have come for one
reason or another. Whatever the case may be, our aim in
the greeter ministry is that people see the love of Jesus in
us. We are the "doorkeeper" in the house of
our Father. This is a one-another, face-to-face,
hand-to-hand, heart-to-heart ministry. Just as Christ
has received us with unconditional love, we accept each and
every person who comes through our doors just as they
are. Because we are the "first impression" of
our church family, we have a wonderful opportunity to touch
every heart that enters Beach Fellowship.
If you enjoy meeting new people and
want to get to know those familiar faces that you see every
week, we have a place just for you. We will provide you
the information and training you need. Just bring your enthusiasm,
a warm, friendly smile and a tender heart. To get
involved, please call the church office at 721-7388.

Grounds
Ministry - Bob Hatton
The purpose of the Grounds Ministry is to glorify God by
keeping beautiful all that He has given us. We are
called to be faithful stewards of all that God has entrusted
us with, and we have been extremely blessed here at Beach
Fellowship with beautiful grounds. We work with our
hands in order to fulfill the principle found in the book of I
Thessalonians 4:11-12 - "Make it your ambition to lead a
quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your
own hands, just as we (Paul, Silas and Timothy) so that your
daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you
will not be dependent on anybody".
Taking care of the lawn or grounds is
a ministry that involves primarily mowing and trimming the
lawn, weeding the flowerbeds, mulching, and blowing the grass
of the parking lot. We also do a few other things as
well, such as trimming the hedges, or special projects.
One special project is taking care of the Preschool
Playground, as this is part of a ministry of the church as
well. We set up a calendar each season, and during the
warm months, each member of the crew usually serves once every
5-6 weeks. We have teams set up with a team leader on
each to oversee the ministry. To get involved, please
call the church office at 721-7388.

Information
Booth
Our purpose is to provide information about the ministry and
directional information to our visiting guests. Also,
resources such as books, audio teaching media and mints are
available for purchase at the information booth. We are
full of smiles and make it our aim to assist those who are new
in finding their way. For more information, please
contact the church office at 721-7388.

Maintenance
Work ranges from coordinating repairs to performing minor
maintenance such as carpentry repairs, plumbing repairs, and
electrical repairs.
If you have expertise in any of these
or other areas, please contact the office and we will keep a
list of those that are willing and able to help out when
needed. Note: The very nature of maintenance and repairs
many times (not always) requires assistance at a moments
notice. For more information, please contact the church
office at 721-7388.

Praise
and Worship Ministry - Jody Williams
To get involved, please call the church office at 721-7388 and
ask for Jody Williams.

Prayer
Ministry
Our purpose is to provide a regular, weekly format for prayer
requests for Beach Fellowship members and their families,
co-workers, and friends. Oftentimes people in our
community reach out to us as Christians, hoping we have a
connection with God in prayer. It is a privilege to
bridge the gap for these folks in a time when they are
vulnerable and open to the Gospel. When the needs are
urgent, we have a list of 30 people who can be called to get
prayer started immediately. For more information, please
contact the church office at 721-7388.

Small
Groups Ministry - Ray Bjorkman
A Small Group is a group of about 5-15 people who meet
regularly and are committed to the strengthening of Christian
community through loving and serving one another in the love
of God. It is a spiritual gathering where the presence
of Christ and the dynamics of His Church are realized.
Our purpose is to provide an
atmosphere that is safe, inviting and dynamic to those within
the Christian community and those who are not.
We believe the small group exists for
at least eight (8) significant reasons:
1) They meet the need for a biblical pattern.
2) They meet the need for interpersonal relationships.
3) They meet the need for recognizing and developing leaders.
4) They meet the need for effective pastoral oversight.
5) They meet the need for individual expression.
6) They meet the need for accelerated spiritual growth.
7) They meet the need for effective evangelism.
8) They meet the need for releasing believers into ministry.
If you have a heart for small groups
and would like to eventually lead one (even if you don't have
experience), then by all means, please contact the church
office at 721-7388.

Usher
Ministry - Roger Gibson
The ministry of ushering is an important part of the larger
scheme of things here at Beach Fellowship. Ushers use
their gifts primarily on Sunday mornings and are needed for a
variety of reasons. Ushers find seating for people, as
the sanctuary becomes full, assist anyone who might need
practical help, receive the offering and a host of other
practical tasks.
The purpose of Ushering is to serve
the church and glorify the Lord in all things however small or
trivial the task. For more information, please contact
the church office at 721-7388.
